CARE
Bereavement - This ministry assists the bereaved family in all aspects of planning the vigil service and funeral liturgy for their loved one.

Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers to the Sick and Elderly Take communion to homes every Friday morning for parishioners who are unable to attend mass. Also provide a communion prayer service at Magnolia Gardens Convalescent Hospital on Sundays.

O.A.S.I.S. - Catholic Charities' Older Adult Services and Intervention System. Parish teams give service and support to seniors who need help. The program helps seniors remain independent and connected to our community.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Our Lady of Lourdes Conference - Inspired by Gospel Values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international lay organization of women and men established in Paris in 1833. The Society offers direct, tangible assistance (food, clothing, and household necessities), financial help, and emotional and spiritual support, through one-on-one interaction to individual in need. LITURGICAL LIFE
Altar Servers - Altar servers assist the priest during mass and other liturgical celebrations. Open to parish boys and girls in the fifth grade through high school that have received First Holy Communion. Adult volunteers assist in training.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist - Assist at parish liturgies in the distribution of the Blessed Sacrament. Open to all confirmed parishioners who have successfully completed the parish training.

Ministers of Hospitality - Provide a welcoming environment to all who enter God’s church. Assist in offertory and other aspects of the liturgy as needed.
Environment - Under the guidance of the Director of Evangelization and Worship, Jaime Perez, volunteers coordinate, plan and dress the environment in the church, including floral arrangements, for each liturgical season and special feast days. Email
Lectors - Proclaims scripture at masses and liturgical events throughout the church year. Lector certification required. Email
Sacristans of the Altar - Preparing, purifying and storing of ceremonial vessels and items supporting Sunday Eucharist, as well as setting-up for assigned Sunday liturgies.

OUTREACH
Giving Tree (Christmas) - During Advent season we collect gifts and monetary donations to be distributed to needy families and various charitable organizations supported by the parish.

SFV Rescue Mission - Volunteers bring essential services and offer their time, talent and goodness of heart to SFV Rescue Mission outreach projects and help make a difference in the lives of the hurting and the homeless. Opportunities are on-going, year-round and constantly changing.

MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity) - A multi-faceted social service agency in Pacoima. Volunteers needed in many services areas. MEND barrel is located in the narthex for your much needed donations of non-perishable food.

COMMUNITY LIFE
Women's Council - A social, spiritual, and service organization for the women of the parish. Meets once a month Sept-June in Stroup Hall. All women of the parish are encouraged to join.

Men's Club - A social organization open to all men of the parish providing various social programs and activities. Meetings held on the second Tuesday of the month, Sept-June, at 6:30 p.m. in Stroup Hall.

Forever Young Seniors Club - Provide a social and spiritual environment for the benefit of seniors. Meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month, Sept.-May, in the Moran Center after the 9:00 a.m. mass.
